A
key factor in the movement for greater Disability Management and
Rehabilitation is the development of trained personnel to serve
this cause. SPASTN has a Human Resources Development Centre, where
SPASTN imparts its expertise, to develop fresh teams of Rehabilitation
experts.
Regular
one year training programmes recognized by the Rehabilitation Council
of India are:
Diploma
in Special Education for persons with Cerebral Palsy (DSE- CP)
Diploma
in Basic Development Therapy for persons with neurological disabilities
(BDT)
B.Ed.,
in Locomotor disability and Cerebral Palsy [14 months] and Foundation
Course for Teachers on Education for children with Disabilities
[90 days], a distance education course. SPASTN is recognized as
a study center for BHOJ University, Madhya Pradesh.
Several
need based short term training courses in early identification and
early intervention, Neuro developmental therapy and Integrated and
Inclusive education were conducted over the years.
In
all its training programmes, SPASTN inculcates the values of service
and commitment to the cause of Rehabilitation.
SPASTN
is an approved study center by the Rehabilitation Council of India,
for conducting the following programmes in the area of Special education
and Rehabilitation through distance mode,
B.Ed
(SE-DE) –
B.Ed., in Locomotor disability and Cerebral Palsy, a distance
education course. SPASTN is recognized as a study center for BHOJ
University, Madhya Pradesh
Foundation course

LI & CP
