SPASTN also produces Video cassettes and VCDs on Disability Management and Rehabilitation.

Most of the published material is translated into Tamil, to make dissemination of information to the rural areas more effective.

Manual on Neurodevelopmental therapy
SPASTN with the help of its therapists, has compiled a Manual on Neurodevelopmental therapy. The key features of the book include an introduction to the Bobath concept and principles of NDT, review of nervous system development and its physiology and theories underlying the Bobath concept. The book has been compiled keeping in mind the therapists who are entirely new to the concept of NDT and to cater to the students interested in learning more about it.

Brochures for Parents
Parents who are suddenly confronted by the news of their child’s neurological impairment, are often in a state of shock and bewilderment. All they need at this stage is knowledge about their child’s condition and measures to cope up with the problem. To alleviate their misconceptions and encourage acceptance, SPASTN has come out with brochures and handouts for parents. These handouts have been created to help parents deal with the child’s needs in an efficient way. Information has been added on various aspects of disability and methods of intervention. Some facts include, the do’s and don’ts for children with CP, proper positioning techniques for children with CP, methods to facilitate speech and proper feeding techniques.
