Future Plans & Needs - Funding

The Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India continues to be SPASTN's major source of financial support. Support for new projects come from various International and Domestic agencies. SPASTN also receives much needed help from major Corporate Houses. The Budhrani family continues their support to SPASTN.

The Spastics Society of Tamilnadu is registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1975 (Tamilnadu Act 27, 1975).

The Government of Tamilnadu vide its GO MS No. 145, dated 14.6.95, has recognized the course conducted by SPASTN for teachers, on the teaching of children with Cerebral Palsy.

The Rehabilitation Council of India has given permanent recognition to SPASTN, vide its Certificate No. RCI / TN / 039.

Donations are exempt under Sec. 80 G and Sec. 35 G of the Income Tax Act.
